Biographical info Name: Peter Schuchert Born: 7 December 1958, Switzerland PhD: 1988, University of Berne, Switzerland Major Accomplishments: Schuchert insists that his major career accomplishments are yet to come, and I totally believe him! But he hasn't done too poorly so far!! I regard his 1993 paper on the phylogenetic analysis of the Cnidaria and his 1996 fauna of New Zealand to be required reading for anyone trying to understand medusa evolution and biodiversity.
